We work with community businesses, local schools, other arts organizations, and individual artists to provide a variety of quality arts experiences for Cook and the surrounding area residents.
Here’s a sample of our past community enrichment programs:
Annually NWFA presents the Spring Art Expo, featuring area artist’s work in participating businesses, the gallery and churches. And we provide the venue for youth art, drama, a dance group, musicians and literary events during the Expo
NWFA supports art education in the schools by giving a grant to the art teacher for supplies
NWFA sponsored several classical music concerts featuring a cellist, pianist and harpist
NWFA collaborates with Arrowhead Regional Arts Council providing grant application workshops
NWFA holds Literary Night Readings
Monthly member’s meetings with artists educational programs
Facilitate grants to support local artist
And much, much more.
